The ground that burns the soles of our feet, is a byproduct of complacency. This fever spreads as the temperature rises to a peak.
We've lost all our patience, this won't get better over time. Find anger in your apathy, and maybe I'll find mine.
With the cracks of our foundation, have we begun to die? With all of our convictions and tears brimming our eyes.
Lost in a dream that we'll never wake up from. We've been bottling this fear for mass consumption. And if every day's like a tragedy played out on the stage for all to see, and the playbill reads just south of heaven, just south of heaven.
The light left as we were trapped inside and the world changed from one man's death as a million voices cried, "we've had enough! We won't go back! Our lives are small, but they're not meaningless!"
With the cracks of our foundation, have we begun to die? With all of our convictions and tears brimming our eyes.
Lost in a dream that we'll never wake up from. We've been bottling this fear for mass consumption. And if every day's like a tragedy played out on the stage for all to see, and the playbill reads just south of heaven, south of heaven!
Lost in a dream that we'll never wake up from. We've been bottling this fear for mass consumption. And if every day's like a tragedy played out on the stage for all to see, and the playbill reads just south of heaven, just south of heaven.
Is this a turning point or mass extinction?
