This is a song about struggling with mental health issues and surviving that and making out the other side.

Verse 1: I’m so covered in scars, I’m barely recognizable anymore. I’ve been put through the ringer one too many times before. Well I’m learning to forget, how to kill myself with regrets. I’m just a heart full of good intentions and beautiful distractions.

Chorus: And we know, there’s got to be more than this. And we find hope here in this beautiful mess. It’s a brave new world that you don’t have to face alone. We’re letting go and embracing the unknown.

Verse 2: I’ve lost all my best years with a shattered optimism and growing fear. Maybe I didn’t feel pathetic because I was so damn apathetic. So be glad you fell this far, it made you who you are. Even at the frayed end of a rope, you’ll still find shreds of hope.
